This board game has blank cards which are ready for you to print, laminate, cut and write the vocabulary words, high-frequency words, spelling words, etc. that your students need to practice. Just use a dry-erase marker so that words can be easily changed and used center over and over for different words.
It is part of my larger unit titled, Buzzing into Literacy Stations.
As a child, I was a voracious reader and quickly finished books, magazines, etc. I loved to read so much that I would even read the back of the cereal box at breakfast. I have always told my students that I didn't care WHAT they read, as long as they read daily. I am constantly telling them, "You can even read a cereal box!" I decided to make this statement true and voila' a teaching unit was born. I hope you and your students enjoy these activities. Maybe they will even inspire you to make a few of your own. After all, all you need is a few empty cereal boxes.
