Friday....YES!

Raise your hand if you are glad it's Friday...

Yep, I KNOW you are ALL raising your hand.

I am ab.so.lute.ly EXHAUSTED!!!!

I dread the next 2 weeks...

(We don't get out until Friday, Dec. 21st...don't even get me started on that...  We're probably the ONLY school in the whole United States that is going that late!!!)

Anyway, I don't have the strength OR the energy to share a lot with you today.

BUT, I do have Christmas Freebie #7 for you today.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of  it to share with you...

I copied the cover on red and green construction paper.

The inside I copied back to back.

When stapling into a book, be sure to put "Frosty the Snowman" in the middle since it is 2 pages.

My thinking is that singing familiar songs will be a GREAT way to help my little low reading group kiddos practice on their fluency.

Don't forget to check out my Christmas Craft Day and Linky Party along with yesterday's freebie.

Enjoy!

Christmas Craft Day and Freebie #6

Today was one of my favorite days of the entire school yearChristmas Craft Day!!

I love to invite parents to come help us as we have an afternoon of fun.
We started off our day by making elf hats as the students arrived to school.

The students got to choose red or green to create their hats.  Aren't they adorable?

Before we started making crafts, we had to pose as a class.

Christmas music played as we began making all the different crafts.  I had enough crafts that I could limit 4 to a table.  They were able to move freely to a different craft at their own speed.

The students will crossout a number each day to countdown the days until Christmas.

Snowmen from paperplates.

 Foam snowflakes and glitter glue.

More crafts...

A yummy snack to end our day of fun.

We also made the decorations for our cutie-patootie door during our fun day.

Here's today's freebie...

Do you have a Christmas Craft (or several) to share?

25 Days of Christmas FREEBIES #3

Has it been a typical Monday for you?  It has for me!

To start off the day, I was ALMOST late for work.

I guess it was for a good reason...I couldn't decide WHAT to wear!

The good part is...I was able to fit into a pair of pants that I hadn't been able to in over a year.  I was VERY excited about that...the trouble was deciding on a shirt.  Afterall, weather predictions were that it would be over 70 degrees today.

This afternoon consisted of a faculty meeting, a trip to the funeral home, home to cook, and Christmas dinner at the Commuity Club.

Yep, it's going to be a loooooooonnngggg week!!!

We've got a busy, busy, BUSY week ahead of us...

We are doing Christmas Around the World for the next 3 weeks. I'm SOOOOO excited about using these Powerpoints from Christina Bainbridge.

We are also using the free book she made.  What a fun way to do beginning research!
We are also going to be doing some cooking, crafts, songs, and other fun Christmas activities to go along with each country.  This brings out the KINDERGARTEN teacher in me...

I am just soooooo excited.  Can you tell??

I just added blog links for you to link up your blog.  Click here to add your blog.

Now, onto DAY #3 in the Christmas FREEBIES...

..another thing that has me super excited.  I am having so much fun making all of these free activities and hope you are taking advantage of all of them...

Today, I offer to you a literacy station for Synonyms and Antonyms.  My kiddos still get the words confused.  I always say Synonyms and same both begin with /s/.  Do you have a trick to help your students remember which word is which?

I would LOVE to hear feedback/comments from you.  As always, if you like my products, please show it by becoming a follower of my blog and TPT store.  I like to offer LOTS of freebies. Being a follower will make sure you never miss out!
