Work Smarter, Not Harder #8

I think you've all figured out by now that my motto is Work Harder, Not Smarter!  lol

My tip today, is short and sweet...
Hang your anchor charts, calendar, posters, etc. using 3M clips or clothespins instead of hot gluing or taping to the wall.  When it is time for those all important standardized tests, simply flip them over so the students can not see them.  This will save you time by not having to cover up or take down.

Don't forget to keep sending me pictures of your focus walls.  I'm working on a huge blog post with lots of pictures and a FREEBIE to be posted on Sunday, July 8th!  (I'm also hoping to hit 300 followers by then for a combination celebration!)  Tell your friends to send me their pix!

Thanks,

  1. That's a great idea, Cynthia! I've used clothespins for hanging student work so I can quickly and easily change them. I use fabric on the wall for the background and then hot glue the clothespins right onto the fabric. I love the idea for charts and posters! I know just where I can put them!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm your newest follower! Your blog is lovely, you'll be at 300 followers in no time!

  4. Hey! I'm a new follower, also coming from Hopkins Hoppin Blog! I am loving this idea of clips to take things down! We have to change our charts regularly and we are encouraged to only hang things as we teach it, not hang posters at the beginning of the year. I had been using Post-It pads because it was sticky and easy to remove, but it's just not cute and it's difficult to save. I love the idea of being able to create cute posters and then changing it out as needed throughout the year! Thanks!
