Focus Walls and a Freebie

I have been scouring the Internet (mostly Pinterest and blogs) looking for focus walls.  When I find one I like, I copy the picture, paste it into a document and make a comment to myself about which element(s) I want to incorporate into my room this year. (See yesterday's Work Smarter, Not Harder post for more info.)  I've also had some very sweet bloggy friends who shared pictures with me.  Below you will see each picture along with the name of the Blog on the picture.  Just click on the picture to go to the blog to see the post about the focus wall.

Another bit of WONDERFUL news (I think) is that I've reached 300 followers in my TPT store as well as my blog.  I'm leaving a freebie at the end of this post in celebration.  Use it to make your OWN Focus Wall this school year.  I would love to see pix when you get them made, so be sure to come back and leave me a link after school starts so I can see what you did with all of these awesome ideas.

ENJOY the show!

Here are a couple of articles concerning focus walls that I really enjoyed.

And now, what you've scrolled to the bottom to get.....(drum roll, please)....

Click on the picture to get your FREEBIE!!!  If there are words you need that I did not include, please drop me an e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Thanks for helping me reach 300 followers!  Now, onward and upward...NEXT...400 with another freebie... (what to make, what to make....  :)

P.S.  I would LOVE if you could pop over to my Facebook page and help me reach 300 there also!  Just click on this pix.

  2. Our county mandated focus walls this year. Ours need to include our objectives, essential questions, benchmark/common core standards and the ticket out (what the kids will do to show they understand the objective at the end of the lesson. It is a lot of work as the objectives can change daily, but the kids are more aware of what we are doing and why.

Thanks for the freebie and congratulations on your followers:)

    1. We use all of the above also, but we are not mandated how it is displayed. Although, I plan on putting my objectives on my focus wall. I've got a neat idea about that one that I'll be posting in my Work Smarter, Not Harder series!

      Thanks for stopping by!
